Property and Business Accounting Limited (PABAL) is an privately owned organisation providing accounting,

taxation and business advisory services to small and medium sized business entities in New Zealand.

 The practice operates on four underlying principles and these are:

 Recognising that accounting is not entirely about historical record keeping. Accounting is about
empowering management to make better decisions by delivering the right information on a timely
basis. The historical records are a by-product of this process and are used to meet statutory
requirements;

 Clients maintain their records, after an extensive training process, thus minimising processing
costs and ensuring that records are always up to date;

 Responding to all client issues within 24 hours, and

 Maintaining the highest level of ethical behaviours and standards.

The practice operates from offices in Herne Bay/Ponsonby ... but attends to clients who are located overseas

with businesses in New Zealand. This requires a unique file and process management system to be able to

efficiently process client records whether they are based in Auckland, Helsinki, London or Sydney.

The practice is virtually paperless and this has led to the principal, Peter Meads describing the practice as a

boutique internet based accounting practice.
